Did the FDA Allow a Diabetes Drug to Expose Millions to Bladder Cancer Risks?
This past summer the FDA announced its second statement regarding Actos bladder cancer. Actos is a top-selling diabetes drug that has been shown to produce an increase in the rate of bladder cancer of its users in the very earliest tests, the ones performed on laboratory animals. Even though the first warnings of Actos bladder cancer came over 10 years ago, the first FDA Actos bladder cancer safety announced came just over 12 months ago.
